Cosmetic surgery has done remarkable things for us. It’s allowed us to fix those little imperfections and enhance things our gene pool never gave us, (thanks mom and dad!) But one man underwent a shocking transformation from human to elf, and all it took is undergoing some seriously bizarre plastic surgery to get his happy ending. Oh, and $30,000 dollars!
LONELY AMONG US
Luis Padron from Buenos Aires, Argentina. had been bullied his entire life for being what different from the rest. At first, all he could do was take the brunt of his peers’ unkind words.
IT’S A MATCH
As Luis grew older, he decided that being different wasn’t really such a bad thing after all. So after a bit of soul searching, he decided that who he was on the inside should match what he looked like on the outside.
Like most elves, Luis went on a quest to undergo an incredible metamorphosis that would change his life forever, but for the better.
IT’S MORPHIN TIME
Becoming an elf hasn’t been easy for the Buenos Aires native. He’s had to undergo several painful, and often invasive procedures to resemble an otherwise otherworldly elf. But if you ask him, he’ll tell you it was all damn worth it!
YOU PAID TOO MUCH
Cosmetic surgery in general isn’t easy. Getting a doctor to turn your outward human appearance into a supernatural being from Germanic mythology and folklore was costly, as in $35,000 so far.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF TRANS
When you hear the word trans you automatically think of a transgender person. Well, Luis considers himself “trans-species” as he crafts his body so he can look as ethereal as Legolas from “Lord of the Rings”.
LIFE IN PLASTIC
It’s fantastic how doctors are managing to turn Luis into an elf by making ears pointy, reshaping his face, and shaving excess bones that are protruding. Luis helps the transition by making his hair lighter and bleaching his skin to give him that elfish glow.
HE’S HIGH MAINTENANCE
We’re not really talking about his personality, but rather his overall look. After all, doing the surgery is one thing, but keep Luis from turning back into a lowly human runs him $6,000 a month
WAX ON WAX OFF
Luis also had to get all his body hair removed because apparently elves don’t have hair on their arms, legs, chest or even your private parts, so looking silky and smooth is on the map for Luis.
IT’S NOT OVER YET
The most surprising thing about his transformation so far is that he’s not done yet. He also wants to go painful limb-lengthening that will make him 6’5 tall because there’s no room in Elven mythology for a short Elf.
