You won’t believe what your favorite actresses looked like their very first roles! Some have changed completely while others haven’t aged a bit! But they’ve got one thing in common, they’ve all grown up into seriously inspiring women with incredible careers. Want to see how time flies, (or doesn’t, for some of them)?
You’ve got to love that eighties perm Nicole was sporting in the 1983 Australian movie, BMX Bandits! Since then her career has exploded, starting with her role in the 1995 movie, Batman Forever, which turned every one of us into major fans.
How does Jennifer Lopez manage to look exactly the same even though twenty years went by? Deal with the devil, or awesome genes and access to beauty treatments? Most likely the latter! She went from being the first Latina actress to earn over $1 million for her role in Out of Sight to having a successful international music career, Jennifer Lopez has rocked this world up and down, while still managing to be Jenny from the block.
The girl with the million dollar smile only gets better with age. Minus that 80s style hideous hairdo, Julia has managed to remain fresh, young, and relevant. After her appearance on Miami Vibe, Julia’s career skyrocketed thanks to Hollywood’s acclaimed Pretty Woman, and quickly became the highest paid actress throughout the 90s. Today, she still looks stunning, (duh!) and runs the Red Om Films production company with her sister.
Reese’s striking Barbie features make her instantly recognizable even at 15 years old. The bubbly blonde has grown up to be a successful producer with her own company, Pacific Standard. As well as tons of starring roles in Hollywood, Reese has had three incredibly successful productions, Gone Girl, Wild, and HBO’s Big Little Liars. She’s definitely not just a pretty face anymore!
If looks could kill, Angie would be on death row! Angelina Jolie looks just as beautiful at 40 as she did at 18. In fact, the only thing that seemed to change for the talented actress is her knack for choosing challenging and mysterious roles. As well as her award-winning acting career, she has evolved into a successful director and a true inspiration with her dedication to humanitarian work. Hum, what’s not to love?!
Jennifer Aniston was first seen on screen in the early 1990s TV series, Ferris Bueller. Obviously, she’s internationally recognized as Rachel from Friends. Being so wildly popular though, didn’t mean Jennifer got typecast in her subsequent roles. Rachel’s character laid the foundation for a seriously successful movie career, even getting her one liberating serious role on the movie Cake, where she went makeup free and had a lot to say about the experience.
Cute and adorable Mila on the left had just moved to the USA from Ukraine five years before starring on her first rule. Since then her career has progressed from voicing Meg in Family Guy, to getting a few Golden Globe nominations for her movie roles. The girl is unstoppable!
My, my, how time flies! Still, Keira Knightley has managed to get gorgeous with the years. Her beautiful and distinctive cheekbones have really developed since her role in 1995 movie Innocent Lies, and so has her maaad acting skills! She is now an internationally recognized actress for roles in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean and has had Academy Award nominations for her roles in Pride and Prejudice and The Imitation Game.
Winona’s gorgeous brown eyes stood out just as much at 15 as they do at 43. After her role in Lucas, Winona became an iconic actress in the 1990s. But she’s had to learn some hard, and I mean HARD, lessons along the way. After being arrested for shoplifting, she went on a hiatus from 2001-2005. Now, she’s back with a bang, starring in Netflix’s Stranger Things. It’s safe to say the girl has never left the building!
HELENA BONHAM CARTER
Helena looks almost identical in her latest role in Love, Nina as she did in A Room With A View when she was only 19! While her looks remained frozen in time, her career took off and with it came many nominations and awards. As well as numerous Academy Award nominations she has been awarded a CBE by the Queen of England. Now that’s an honor!
